LITTLETON - On May 23, Mike Morelli, Chief Operating Officer of Littleton Coin Company, announced the recipients of the semi-annual Departmental Quality Awards. Recognized for outstanding achievement within their departments were: Brandon Bartlett, Order Filling; Belinda Lees, Coin Inventory; Charlene Virge, Order Processing; Gloria Sencabaugh, Analyzing; Holly Moore, Customer Service; Denise Hall, Coin Buying.

Quality Achievement Awards recognize the efforts of employees in areas of quality control that contribute to the superior level of service Littleton's customers enjoy. The program has two levels: departmental, with awards given in the spring and fall of each year; and annual, with one "Quality Employee of the Year" receiving company-wide recognition in January.

Founded by Maynard Sundman in 1945, Littleton Coin Company has grown to become one of the largest coin and paper money mail order companies in the country. The company currently employs more than 320 area residents and processes over one million pieces of outgoing mail annually.
